Fashion Week in Los Angeles is not like New York Fashion Week, when it comes to the organization and selection of shows, but in Los Angeles provided some excellent shows.Los Angeles has a scene how more and more with some amazing designers, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and also the lively city center California Mart downtown showrooms with a model to compete Garment District NY.

Independent designers have put their shows in private places (Sue Wong, Lauren Elaine) and categories of collective of young designers have joined in these proceedings (Concept Gallery Ace Art Deco Thai Nguyen, Jen Awad, directed by the Project runway Mila Hermanovski). In a nutshell, here is a summary of the highlights of Fashion Week in Los Angeles.

Jen Awad put on a show very interesting, and 60 notables seeking concept. There were a lot of minutes, skirts, tops, lace up, bows and makeup and hair sports models like the icon Brigitte Bardot in the 60's. The show was a real way out of the skirt and romantic is the ultimate collection of Jen. Jen Awad offers the Fall 2011 collection looks casual, but also several dresses worthy of the red carpet in Hollywood. After Jen Awad, was the designer of Thai Nguyen with a collection of long dresses and cocktail dresses. People really liked the flowing robe attractive offers.

Also on display was Hermanovski Mila Concept Project Runway collection of cashmere sweaters and tunics with geometric shape used. A small collection of works by Nicole Miller recalls. Each specialty Mila re-creations of the materials he works with. Not a piece can be like everyone else. Her collection is beautiful and durable. Mila (brave new dress), costume designer Colleen Atwood discussed, and helped the style of Helena Bonham Carter as the recent Oscar dress. It 'nice to see her talent continues to design post-Project Runway.
