How To Apply Mascara

A question I get a lot of people is what I use mascara. I have some small eyes and refuses to leave the house without mascara because the mascara applied moment my eyes suddenly seem to be of normal size (I have been blessed with long lashes, maybe that helps). I had mascara on the 100 degree heat on a trip to Vietnam and my friend was blown away by the endurance of my hypos Lancôme mascara. (See my list of the best mascaras on the market)

Here I'll share my top 15 tips and advice from mascara, as well as how to properly apply mascara.

How to properly apply mascara

Ace your mascara application with a 3 step process:

1. Step 1: The oscillation of the stick from left to right at the base of the lashes. And mascara placed near the roots - evidence - that gives the illusion of length.

2. Step 2: Pull the wand through lashes, wiggling as you go. Wiggling the key part is because it separates the lashes.

3. Step 3: In this final stage (which always skip), around the eyes and put mascara on the top of the tabs at the base and pull through to remove any lumps.

Choosing the best makeup for you

When picking mascara, you might consider the desired formula (lengthening, thickening, water-resistant or non-clumping). To learn more about the options for how to choose the right formula mascara.

You should also consider the price. You can get a good drugstore mascara base and spend more money on a luxury mascara. I think fans do mascara clumps with less and last longer, but probably no one would be able to tell if you wore a registered pharmacy or brand store. See if you splurge on mascara, or save?.

I like Lancôme mascaras and I always use waterproof mascara in the summer or skiing. Check out my list of the best masks on the market for your perfect fit.

Most pharmacies and stores have excellent return policy if you try a mascara and hatred that can come back to us. Never try mascara in a department store, there is little risk of infection. Instead, check the store policy and return home a few attempts. Also, do not be fooled into a complete transformation in the cosmetics counter (to see how anti-cosmetic Trick).

How to keep tabs agglutination

For some, lash combs are simply too demanding. But some make-up artists, are a great invention and keep lashes around the world free and perfectly separated. You can use a comb eyelashes and mascara to lashes first, swinging the lash comb through the lashes, and tips.

Do not comb the eyelashes? Clumbs rid of them without removing excess mascara from the wand. Clean the shaft in the tissue, this eliminates blobs before you start.

Another great way to get rid of the batteries is swept clean and fresh wand through lashes when wet mascara. Or buy a new or recycle old ones. Buy online mascara wands own (called "tail" or at Sephora.

Reuse an old mascara wand if you do not want to bother with spooler. When you finish a mascara, clean the wand in a cap full eye makeup remover, then wash with soap and dry. Keep it clean by washing every time you wash your makeup tools.

Do not be afraid to mix Masks

A trick of makeup artists use to make pop tabs is to apply a coat of mascara lengthening followed by a thickening layer of mascara. Remove excess with a clean reel stick (see above).

Try a colored mascara

Basic mascara rules are simple: Black works for everyone, but can be a hard-skinned blondes. Blondes should opt for brown / black by day and reserve black night. Burgundy or plum color make blue eyes pop and blue mascara. Purple mascara is fine brown eyes.

Use an eyelash curler

Curling lashes gives eyes the appearance of being wider and brighter. Pull hot air from your blowdryer on the mascara curler for 3-5 seconds to warm up before curling lashes. Mix the first to make sure that it is not too hot. It is a myth that you need to curl lashes before applying mascara. You can curl lashes after applying mascara, just make sure the mascara is dry first. Shu Uemura eyelash curlers are super popular.

Zig-zag the mascara wand

Zig-zag wand back in the application reduces the lumps.

Use only the Top Lashes

Many makeup artists recommend using the mascara on upper lashes only (I respect this rule.) If you want to make the eyes wider, apply mascara on lower lashes, but make sure you give lashes a touch light. Not good for the bottom lashes? Try putting a tissue under them before application.

Use a skin primer

Primary layer and separate the lashes before applying mascara. Makeup artists swear by mascara primer. And I tried, but it is an extra step, I usually use primer only on special occasions, they spend more time on my makeup. My hands-favorite is Lancome Cils Booster XL.

What does "Apply a second layer" of the Mask

I've always been confused by the instructions of the magazine to cover the tabs with "no more than three layers of mask." It seems that magazines have been giving these instructions as pre-pre-teens and probable. What they mean is to apply layers of mascara at once before the first coat dry. Once the first coat dries, you'll get bunches if you try a new blow to the lashes.

You're not the pump rod and out of the tube

This only introduces air into the tube, which will cause your mascara to dry out sooner than expected.

Double rod

A makeup head, once gave his secret to his steady hand: he always bends his wand at a right angle.

Blink wait and DoubleCheck Once dry

Since I have long lashes, try to wait 5 seconds before blinking after I apply the mascara with a mascara or end points for the entire period of my blanket. I also double check my laptop before you go out, because chances are, I have those points over and it's embarrassing to find out hours later that you did a bad job of makeup on your own, you have the professional beauty editor .
